Here at Traditional Floors & Design we pride ourselves in a lot of different things. We especially like our customers to know us because we specialize in “customer service”. Our staff, (3 daughters) are our greatest assets in our store! They truly do love and enjoy every minute working closely with our clients by supporting the effort towards the successful completion of their projects and in the end, they just love their jobs.

Christy Kipf is the oldest of our daughters. She is our pleaser on the sales end and is very motivated to deliver her clients her very best! She loves to pull ideas together and make some ones Dream Home a true reality. She likes to put Cambria Quartz counter tops in all the spaces. Yes… you will pay a bit more for Cambria Quartz, but it is a superior product! Bain Ultra Freestanding tubs are also a great add on to the customers that desire to have the very best.

Abby Laudenbach is our middle daughter. She is spunky, hard-working and a multi-tasker bringing real enthusiasm and knowledge to her clients.
Abby loves putting together bathrooms and adding lots of pattern. She is the heavy lifter. She is our mover and shaker.

Anna Winczewski is the youngest of the girls. She is the thinker. Anna works at her own pace. She gets the job done. She enjoys working with the younger couples similar to her and the elder’s, who like to hold onto their money. Nevertheless, after she explains “why it’s important to spend their money”, tend to agree with her and go with her suggestions.

Then, there is “Ken and I” the proprietors of Traditional Floors & Design. Ken’s role constitutes both the brains and the money man of the family. He keeps all the ladies in his life on an even keel. Poor guy! We know there is a great deal of estrogen traversing throughout the store but he is able to work closely with all of us day in and day out. He is our builder and construction tradesman for our store. In general, he oversees the store both operationally and maintenance wise.

We’re a well-oiled machine! Ken worked tremendously hard by himself for 24 years supporting his dad’s business. Today, he gets the chance to work every day with his wife and 3 daughters. Ken and Pam have 7 adult children in all.

Pam is the lead designer for Traditional Floors & Design. She travels to the majority of their customer’s homes to understand the layout of the current rooms she will be starting from. So, she can properly redesign the space by understanding the client’s budget and goals. She always handles the measuring for their client’s projects for TF&D store. Also, when you come through our showroom you will immediately notice we have 25 full room displays that are beautifully designed by Pam to show you a wide array of options of tile, use of Cambria, flooring, paint and wall paper options, faucets, sinks, Bain Ultra tubs and custom shower layouts with a variety of glass enclosure options. Pam loves to create new spaces and give you a new look to an old space.

Family plays a vital importance surrounding the success of our store. Additionally, we always strive to keep our store up to date with the latest trends in mind. We spend a great deal of time and resources to give our customers a chance to view new product options and design techniques to look at. Of course, the styles change all the time and seasonal options do get introduced. We try our best to implement new ideas on our floor for you to peruse whenever we can.

Its almost weekly that we will get in new products coming available, sometimes it is a new porcelain or composite wood panel sample for the floor or a patterned tile for the floor or wall feature. The mosaics can be incredibly costly and there are some very reasonable priced pieces too. People always seem to love these new items. Now-a-days, a customer will buy what they want to have a specific look they love over trying to meet a specific budget! If they see it on a HGTV show. They come in and ask for it. We usually can get it for them.

We really try to make “Our Customers Dreams A Reality” so they get exactly what they want.

Whether you’re building a new home or remodeling an old one. We can help you out. We love to look at your floor plans and then we think of it as our own house. What would we like, what would you do if it was yours? .

That is what we do! I always look at the space and think about what I would like to see in my own home. Their likes and dislikes I always ask for their input. Do they have a certain style they want? Color theme, etc. If they say Modern, we look for clean crisp lines, simple and uncluttered! If they say Farmhouse like JoAnna Gaines we can do that too! Some like styles that are old fashioned. You may prefer very traditional curves, pillars, oak yes… we can help there too! We just remodeled at our store, Traditional Floors & Design Center. We put in new looks and updated rooms! Home designs can run from kitchens to bathrooms, bedrooms and etc. Some homeowners like to get the main space done first. Renew and revive the living, kitchen and dining areas first. The other spaces are not as costly. Bathrooms can add up quickly or just new paint. Painting existing cabinets, new Cambria Quartz countertops and Delta Faucets. Take a regular tub surround and replace it with a separate Bain Ultra Tub. And give them a separate walk in shower! Get some extra space from an extra bedroom. The kids are out of the house so you can use the space for a new or expanding a room.

Another avenue is to remove the carpet in the master bedroom and replace it with hardwood floors. If you want a soft feel when you get out of bed you can always add a rug. We can do custom binding on any of our carpets to get you the size and shape you want. If you want soft and shaggy we have it! If you are looking for a cleaner, neater appearance that will give you a soft look but more formal. We have that too! Round, rectangle, square we can totally customize a rug for your new space.

Another way to update your new bathroom or kitchen is to have Tischler cabinets of Avon make a beautiful new look. They can give you exactly what you are looking for. Big or small they can do it all. They can customize in glaze and painted cabinets. I’ve seen a lot of cabinet doors and they are by far the best at getting the glaze correct, they have done a lot of our cabinets we have on display here at Traditional Floors & Design Center.

For a new look it is nice to do an accent wall. In the master bedroom the wall with the bed is a good place to start. You can use wallpaper, brick, ship lap or wood. It can be the same thing for the living room. If you have a fireplace, that should be your focal point in that room. On the fireplace you can use stack stone, brick or tile. It is difficult to list all the choices as there are so many new looks.
You really can truly give an old home a brand-new look by replacing the floors, new fresh paint, update the cabinets with Tischler Cabinets of Avon. New Cambria Quartz Countertops new tile showers, backsplashes. Custom tile showers with Delta faucets. Some wallpaper, stacked stone for an accent wall or the fireplace.

Where is the first place you go when you wake up? Yes… most likely, your bathroom!

Well, today, I believe it’s a fantastic time for you to contemplate building a new bathroom.   A bathroom can be either, basic, ultra-extravagant or somewhere in between. Sure, being practical sometimes makes sense, but, with today’s exceptional bathroom accessories we can create a wonderful, relaxing area for you to escape to and indulge yourself from a busy day. At Traditional Floors & Design Center, we’re seeing many new design trends, color usage possibilities and a wide variety of different custom layouts to fit you perfectly. Some folks, like their bathroom to be very tranquil and peaceful. Where others, like to use the new patterned tiles for a fun, exciting look that distracts you from viewing the mess from the kids. Using patterned tiles can hide a lot and provide you a great, memorable look.

We just finished up a new display in our showroom floor at Traditional Floors & Design Center. It shows a beautiful pattered floor that compliments any color and style. The basic black & white look is very popular right now. We also see a lot of the gray and white tone used tiles too! The great part about using these color pallets that any color goes with it. You can use the naturals, organic looks with an accent of natural woods like bamboo, cork or acacia walnut colors. It brings a warmth to the space which also brings a calming or tranquil look to it as well. Remember, it is all about what you want it to feel like. Maybe, soothing & relaxing or the opposite, colorful and spirited!

From the floors, we can move to the walls for the shower stall. They can have a pattern but still give you a soothing feel. The monochromatic colors of white and with varying options of different textures and sizes. Flat to wavy, to different shapes. But, still being all in the same color. The color of the grout can dramatically change the look of the tiles or to have it stick out, then use a dark or contrasting color! If you want it to all be the same color and keep it calming use the same color as the tile.

Now, onto tubs available, we proudly sell Bain Ultra tubs. They are air jetted or are also available in a soaker style. It delivers a hydro thermo massage.
